Little Prince Hospice for Children in Lublin

On 10th October 2012, a ceremony to celebrate 15 years of the Little Prince Hospice for Children was held in the Lecture Theatre of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.

 

The ceremony opened with the screening of a film presenting the Hospice, entitled “Inny adres zamieszkania” (Alternative address). Another surprise was a concert by an extraordinary volunteer supporting the Little Prince Hospice for Children in Lublin, Mr. Stanisław Soyka. His Excellency, Bishop Mieczysław Cisło and Father Alan T. Brzyski (PhD), the Minister Provincial of the Saint Jadwiga Province of the Order of Friars Minor, and many other officials who expressed their support and respect for the Hospice, added splendour to the ceremony. The meeting was hosted by Ewa Dados, a journalist at Radio Lublin.

 

Speeches by Representatives of the Families connected with the Hospice brought up lots of emotions. In a family atmosphere, the patients, volunteers, personnel, donors and guests of the Hospice cut the anniversary cake and sang the traditional “Sto lat” (May you live a hundred years) for the Little Prince Hospice.
